HeadRush Arena is a virtual reality game available on the Meta Quest platform.
HeadRush Arena is developed and published by Campus‑XR Ltd, a software development company based in the United Kingdom.

Campus‑XR Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with HeadRush Arena and any related services described in this policy.

2.1 Account and platform data

  • Meta account identifiers and app‑specific identifiers associated with your account (for example, user ID or app‑scoped ID).
  • Your display name or username and other basic profile information exposed to the app via the Meta platform, as needed to provide game features.

2.2 Device and technical data

  • Device/headset type and model.
  • Operating system and version.
  • HeadRush Arena app version.
  • IP address and general region (for example, country or city‑level region).
  • Language and localisation settings.
  • Technical logs such as crash reports, error codes, and performance diagnostics used to fix bugs and improve stability.

2.3 Gameplay and usage data

  • Game modes and levels played.
  • Matchmaking and multiplayer participation.
  • Scores, achievements, progression, unlocks, and other gameplay statistics.
  • Session times and durations (for example, when you start and end sessions).
  • In‑game settings and preferences.

2.4 Communications, safety and moderation data

  • Information you provide when you contact Campus‑XR for support, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
  • Player reports, moderation actions, and related records used to investigate cheating, harassment, abusive behavior, or other misuse.
  • Anti‑cheat signals and other safety or security‑related indicators used to detect or prevent fraud or abuse.

2.5 Voice, text and social features data 

HeadRush Arena includes voice chat, text chat, or other social features, the app will process any:

  • Voice chat audio streams and related metadata.
  • Text chat messages and related metadata.
  • Party, friend, or matchmaking information required to run social features.
  • Safety, moderation, and enforcement records related to those communications.

2.6 Purchase and entitlement data

  • Information about purchases, refunds, downloadable content, entitlements, and subscription status for HeadRush Arena as made available through the Meta platform, used to verify that you own or are allowed to access the game or certain features.

Campus‑XR does not receive full payment card details; payments are processed by the platform payment provider (for example, Meta).

3. How we use this data and for what purposes

Campus‑XR uses the data listed above for the purposes below. These purposes align with Meta’s requirement that apps clearly explain how and why data is processed.

  • To provide and operate HeadRush Arena
    To authenticate you, verify your entitlement to the game and its content, load your progress, and run gameplay, matchmaking, and other core features.
  • To maintain and improve performance
    To monitor crashes, errors and performance, diagnose technical issues, balance gameplay, and improve stability and user experience.
  • To provide support and communicate with you
    To respond to your support requests, bug reports, feedback, and other communications.
  • To maintain safety, fairness and security
    To detect, investigate and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, harassment, and other misuse of HeadRush Arena, and to enforce rules or platform requirements.
  • To comply with legal obligations
    To comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements, court orders or lawful requests from authorities.

Campus‑XR does not sell your personal data.


4. Legal basis for processing

Under UK data protection law (including UK GDPR), Campus‑XR relies on the following legal bases:

  • Contract – processing that is necessary to provide HeadRush Arena and the services you request, such as allowing you to play the game, access content, and use multiplayer features.
  • Legitimate interests – processing that is necessary for Campus‑XR’s legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving HeadRush Arena, preventing misuse, and communicating with users, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights and interests.

  • Consent – where Campus‑XR relies on your consent for specific, optional processing (for example, certain types of website analytics or marketing communications where applicable). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

  • Meta and platform services
    Meta and its platform services, as needed to operate and distribute HeadRush Arena on the Meta Quest platform and to support platform features and entitlements.

    Hosting providers, cloud infrastructure services, analytics and crash‑reporting providers, moderation and anti‑cheat services, and customer support tools that help us operate, maintain and support HeadRush Arena.
  • Professional advisers and related entities
    Insurers, legal advisers, auditors, or other professional advisers where reasonably necessary for business operations and legal compliance.
  • Authorities and legal recipients
    Regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other authorities where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Service providers may only process your data on Campus‑XR’s instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.


6. International transfers

Campus‑XR operates from the United Kingdom, but some of the service providers and platform services used to operate HeadRush Arena may process data in other countries.

HeadRush Arena may be played by younger users on the Meta Quest platform.

Campus‑XR processes children’s data in line with applicable laws and platform rules and aims to use data in ways that are fair and proportionate. Where children or teenagers use HeadRush Arena, parents, guardians, or schools can contact Campus‑XR using the details in this policy if they have questions or wish to exercise rights on a child’s behalf.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal conditions and limitations, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain types of processing; and
  • request a copy of data you have provided to us in a portable format where applicable.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before your withdrawal.

10. How all users can request deletion of their data

All users of HeadRush Arena, regardless of their country or region, can request that their personal data collected or stored in connection with HeadRush Arena is deleted. This meets Meta’s requirement that deletion requests are not limited only to users in specific regions like California or the EU.

To request deletion of your HeadRush Arena data:

  2. Include the following information so we can identify your data:
    • that your request relates to HeadRush Arena on Meta Quest;
    • your Meta account display name and/or app username;
    • the email address associated with your Meta account (if applicable); and
    • if possible, the approximate date of your last session or any relevant support ticket references.

Campus‑XR does not charge any fee for deletion requests.

After verifying your identity where necessary, Campus‑XR will delete or irreversibly de‑identify personal data relating to HeadRush Arena that it no longer needs to keep, including gameplay and usage records linked to you, support records that are no longer needed for open cases, and account‑level data under Campus‑XR’s control.

When we may keep some data

In some cases, we may not be able to fully delete all data immediately. For example, we may keep limited data where necessary to:

  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations (for example, accounting or tax records);
  • detect, investigate or prevent fraud, cheating, security incidents, harassment or other misuse;
  • enforce or defend legal rights or claims; or
  • maintain aggregated or anonymised statistics that do not identify you personally.

In these cases, we will retain only the minimum amount of data needed for those purposes and will not use it for purposes that are incompatible with this policy.

If you have concerns about how Campus‑XR handles your personal data, you can contact us using the details above so we can try to address your concerns.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom or to another supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or place of alleged infringement.
